I sold it cuz my dad moved to AZ and I didn’t have the resources to finish it at the time. We screwed up on the wiring that was the back fire issue. We fixed it. It was ready to water test minus getting the pipe hooked back up to the water box. But there was about 1/4” of room to get your hand down there and tighten the clamps if you could even get the coupler on it. I was frustrated and regret selling it. I’d like to buy it back eventuallyWhy does Justin have it? OP is in Oregon I thought.
ok, I remember Justin saying he had an X2 he was gonna be messing with, no idea it was this one.I sold it cuz my dad moved to AZ and I didn’t have the resources to finish it at the time. Yep and as maligned as they are nothing twists up like a 951DI , the engine spins up faster than the tach can keep up with.I haven't ridden a 1200r PV ski
But I've personally ridden / built or friends owned and built
787, 951 Seadoo
1100, 1200 kawi
1200 Yamaha
1050 & triple pipe 785 Polaris
Nothing
And I mean nothing
Hits like those 951s
Funny you say that because I ended up getting our 787 mod hx back from one of my dad’s buddies last summer. Works out a lot more practical than the 951 x2. And in the mean time the 750X2 is getting rear exhaust, setback 12 vein mag pump etcYep and as maligned as they are nothing twists up like a 951DI , the engine spins up faster than the tach can keep up with.
I personally like 787's better , easier to work on and way less issues overall plus they can handle some pretty serious mods without affecting reliability that much , I am putting a carbed 951 in my Seadoo 3D project though .
