95 SXI Not pissing properly

Gaskets in, everything bolted up. Carbs set to factory settings with proper jets.

Going to the lake to see if there has been any change.

Started it on the trailer and it ran away again, had to kill it with primer before it took off.

does it still have the stupid crankcase drain on it?
they are notorious for leaking and making motors run away

Ski ran great! Pissing a solid warm stream, no steam. Doesn't stutter as much on the low end, screams on top.

Still running away on the trailer, gonna watch for lean conditions and hunt the air leak down. Thanks for the help guys.

Is the crankcase drain that plunger looking thing? If so, it has been removed from this ski.

Which seals are you referring to? I'm new to all of this! Thanks

Did you have to pull the Carbs, Odds are good the Carbs did not seat back down to the gaskets on the Manifold. Or was this always a problem?

I have pulled the carbs twice in it's time with me. Once was today. When I bought the ski it was already having the runaway issues, although they seem to have gotten worse. This ONLY occurs out of the water.

Probably not all due to the Carbs then. When you put them on Open the butterfly and do your best to line them up with the Manifold holes. the Keihin carbs will not seat as easy as the Mikuni's do. At least for me they didn't.
