Super Jet 95 superjet hood help

Does anyone know if a 1997 yamaha superjet hood will fit a 1995 superjet? I am having all kinds of problems trying to find a hood for a descent price. I am hoping to find someone that is parting one out. thanks for any help

yeah thats what I thought. Thanks a lot. Do you know what material the hood is made of and how to repair it? I have a chip off of the corner that keeps the hood from sealing? It does not look like fiberglass but I am pretty new so I wanted to make sure. Thanks for the help

Do u have the piece that's gone? You want to use epoxy resin and 17oz cloth. Post pics tho and more people will help walk you thru repairing it

thanks for the advice ajmps1. Im sorry I dont have any pics yet I am brand new to the forum so I am still learning how to do everything. I did some grinding and sanding to prep the area and realized it is not fiberglass. The chip is on the front corner where the hood seels down and it is about the size of half a credit card. My mane concern is that It is not a hole so I would have to form the bottom edge. How does the epoxy and 17 oz cloth work?? thanks for the help
