The Nose peice is now smooth and the ski is done with paint. Started turfing the side rails as well. oh so much more to do.

The turf was not sticking that well in some areas so i clamped it down. once it dried its was fine

Have you checked out the XFT trim system? It's pretty badass, and I think it might even need the extra clearance that you already have there.

Yes its wither XFT, Wamiltons, or Blowsions. Just cant see me caughing up 500 to 750 bucks for one. I really just like the looks of the tray being clearanced out like that. Next on the list of things to do is finish the internal fuel fill. Install the solas concard 3mm cut back 13/15 and blueprint the pump. Whats the easiest way to remove the b pipe since i cant seem to get the fuel tank out with it in the boat? Just remove the chamber and head pipe as one? I just cant seem to reach that last hose clamp thats on the nose.

I just loosened the coupler, then using a flathead, pried the waterbox hose off the front, then up and out. If you dont want to waste gaskets, taking the fuel tank out only takes like 10 minutes if that.

First test ride for the season today. ski ran good should since i didnt do anything to the motor. the footholds are nice and comfortable. Now i only wished the water wasnt freezing.

So i decided to go with a stock/raider trim system. The D cut top deck came out perfect surprisingly.

After 4 years its time to bring this build back from the dead. It has ran good since but its time for some more upgrades and fixed problems. I picked up a lot of stuff that I have been collecting over time.

To do list:

Modified hood (got an extra hood for this)
Defoam
reinforce hull
Cut 3" off the back
refoam
clean the entire inside of ski
re turf
shorten pole another 2"
go through e box


Parts to install:
ADA head/35cc domes
OCD tidy bilge
Tubbies
get cylinders freestyle ported
install lightened flywheel
some other little stuff along the way.
