FX-1 '94 FX-1 Build - Boat Chaser

Bought this clean FX-1 off of MikeyB. Plans are ADA girdled head, B-pipe mod, 46mm SBN, WetJet manifold, Skat 19-24 Swirl, Tom21 Tubbies, Footholds, Pancake Pete Front Foothold, Lowered Pole Bracket, Carbon Fiber Pole Bracket Cover, Ride Plate and Reinforcing.

This is what it looked like when i bought it.

No paint leaving it the way it is, for atleast this season. I like actually like the look of the stock graphics.

I agree, that thing looks way too clean to paint. I run a very similar setup in mine now. I have stock intake/carb and a kaw650 pump but the rest is the same pretty much. Hope you like it as much as I do!

I did the same thing, rode a 750 kawi for a while and then purchased my fx1...best decision I made. You will love the ski, so light and plenty of bottom end.

Craig made some more progress with his footholds tonight. Just need to clean up a few cuts and glass them in.

I miss the old purple pebble turf too.

The gator turf was soo fitting for the ski, wish it was left on or replaced with it again.. great build so far

All of the FX1 riders in Michigan need to find a good wake lake. I ride Lake Orion and it is great!

When i bought my SN i had the same turf and it rocked!!! was really sad to tear it off .... but footholds were a must . Great looking ski and idea on the footholds I will be doing that the next time I install some.
