SX/SXi/SXi Pro 93 750SX Waterbox Cracks

Just went out into the surf today, I have a 93 750SX mostly stock. I never had a problem this season. I landed sideways in shallow water everything was okay so I took it to shore to check it out, I saw a little smoke from the back. When I went back out it was breaking up and bogging at WOT, I was only limited to like 10 MPH. Bring it back to the beach open up the hood and there is a couple inches of water in the hull and exhaust smoke.

So I go home, yank out the water box and there is a couple of cracks here. Would that cause me the problem I described? What options are there, aftermarket?

After filling up the waterbox with water, it leaked from all the seams. I was able to pull it apart with my hands! I found a aluminum waterbox from a sxi pro, will this fit right in?

i had an ally box in my ski its a 96 sxi and now ive been running a modded glass one out of a 94 sx seems to fits pretty good just fix the glass one ezy to work with.

either way will work, that is your issue with poor running. the ski cant run on exhaust fumes.

Just a follow up, I put the aluminum box in it fit pretty good. I had to take the exhaust studs out to get it in the hole. Runs great now. I even found a MSD enhancer in the electrical box. Early christmas. Thanks all
