Talk to John Zigler on here, or maybe he'll post in. He should have some goodies laying around for you

thanks nick....

need more info. what would you like to do with it? what is your budget?

IMO basics are;

handle bars, trigger throttle, good top loader scoop grate, ride plate, replace, or cut or shave that big pole pad down.

engine wise you can shave .020 off teh head, ad a timming advance, flame arrestor, this will give it some snap.

if you want more,

go with a factory pipe, larger 46mm single carb, or dual carbs, reeds, lightweight flywheel, MSD ignition, ect.

you can build a real arm jerker.

let me know, i would be happy to hewlp in any way. yes, i have many 750 parts here in stock. new, and used.

feel free to call too if you'd like.

Yo Zig, How do you like riding your 750 on flat water?

Ive been building one for a few years and i love it.
Yea, its not a SJ, bit still a blast to ride

hello chevy 11.

man, i haven't personally had a 750SX for years. i did just sell an old SXi pro that i have a couple of years ago, but i really didn't ride it much. lately i've just been on my SXR's. i love them.

the 750SX is a great ski. we are going to be building another one here shortly, for my oldest son. he is currently on a 550SX.

the items i made larger are most deff what you need. as for factory pipe, get the wet pipe, timing advancer makes a nice difference, you wanna make sure it dosen't make it run lean though. scoop grate is a wonderful thing on the sx. you can keep your stock flame arrestor, it wont make it go any faster, actually the stock one is better for keeping water out.

zig's a cool guy, he'll hook you up.

better yet, get a stock 800 impeller. pitch 13/18

How does a stock 800 impeller do for bottom end on the sx?

Im basically building the same ski as this guy right now, but I am also building a limited SX-R at the same time. So in addition to the factory wet, timing advance, lightened flywheel, some footholds and footstraps, a better aluminum pole (the AC's are HUGE), and some engine work... It will also be getting a set of SX-R dual 40's, and probably a stock SX-R prop if not more....

the stock sxr prop is a very good design. it is similar to a scat swirl. IMO it would be too much prop for a stock SX, ( 9-17 straight blade is perfect). but it would work great if you had a pipe, head, ect. you need the hp to pull it. with a bored nozzle, it would work good.

it works great, just gotta have the HP to make it work good though, sounds like your in good shape
