Hey guys. I'm really hoping someone here can help me out. I have a 92 superjet and it recently (the last 2 rides) it hasn't been running right. The first time I started the day with a dead battery and it wasn't charging up much at all so I assumed it was likely shot and had a spare that I knew was good that I put in my ski for riding today. But I had the same issue today and I'm not sure where the best place to start is.
The Issue:
When riding my ski, for the most part it sounds as if its hitting a limiter. It sounds like I'm hitting and backing off of the throttle rapidly. Its only audible when I am at about half to full throttle. It might be doing it at lower throttle but I can't here it doing it and throttle response seems fine. Then I parked the ski for a bit and came back 10 minutes later and it seems to have no issue at all and it rode great. Then I dumped the ski jumping a wake and then the problem came back.... I'm really not sure where to start. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I was going to try new spark plugs, and possibly rebuilding the carb but please let me know if you have any ideas. Thanks!
