Super Jet 90 SuperJet New to Forum

Just saying Hi.

I have a 90 SuperJet for 14 years now. Got it of a guy in 1998 who use to race it early 90's in Jersey shore areas. Not sure what he did to the motor, but I know he kept the aftermarket pipe and put the stock one back on for me. Compression has always been 180 PSI @ 500 feet for me and still is. Single carb with a KN flame arrestor, stock head. It has a Pro-tec extended ride plate, a 4/7 Skat-Trak impeller, and I think a worx maxi-loader intake. I've averaged about 6 times a year on the water with it, always fresh water lakes. Dont do much freestyle stuff, I seem to get pulled over every time I try to jump around and they give me the whole "the hull must not leave the water bull*&^%."

Other than keeping it clean, winterizing, and carb rebuild/ cleaning I have never had to deal with any problems @ all until this year. My CDI went bad! So I sent the entire electrical box, a used 62T CDI and the start/ stop switch to JetSki Solutions to get re-done. They have been a pleasure to work with.

In the meantime the search button will be my friend here because I'm pretty sure I need to do something with my intermediate bearing. I have my motor out now because of course I snapped one exaust manifold bolt trying to get them out to get @ the wire going to the starter.
