Super Jet 90 degree reducer exhaust coupler (what is wrong with this one?)

Sorry for the long link but are these not made for exhaust applications or what is the deal with the $50 one that Factory Pipe and others sells vs this one? If the ones on ebay shouldn't be used, what is everyone using when they say they use a OEM coupler, just any Yamaha exhaust hose with a bend to it and double clamp it on the pipe side??

lots of guys use the stock hose from pipe to waterbox, u can even use some diesel turbo exhaust hose.

Those will work fine. I've been using those kinds of couplers for years. www.siliconintakes.com is a great place to look as well. Same stuff but more options.

Thanks for the info. I guess the one that FPP sells is a 45 degree. Can anyone comment if a 90 or 45 would be better for putting a limited chamber in a RN with a stock waterbox?
