9/15 vs 10/16 hooker impellers

I would like to hear some first hand opinions/experiences from guys who have run both 9/15 and 10/16 hookers in light aftermarket freestyle hulls running 700-800cc motors and 144 pumps.

I say aftermarket freestyle hulls because of the massive weight and powerband goal differences between them and most superjets. I hear guys talk about the 9/15 being a good all around prop. But that's not what I want in my hurricane. I want exclusively low end.

Right now I have a 9/15 in a solas 144 mag spun by a 64x 760. It seems to do fine, but I've seen guys on here and even a recent Blowsion build using a 10/16 with similar mods. So if I can get even a little more low end I'm fine with losing even a lot of top end.

Thoughts?

Also I have an 11/17 laying around I could try. But id have to order a 10/16. Should I? Or do you guys think my ski could spin the 11/17?

If you want exclusively low end and have a 9/15, going to a 10/16 is not going to achieve better low end thrust on a 760. How light is the hurricane?

I run a 10/16 on my superfreak. 718 maniac/ blue engine.

What is your peak RPM? You can bend your 9-15 a little if you think its too much load. I would expect it would be about right with an 85mm nozzle.

I am running the exact same motor with pipe, stock pump etc, and I think I am spinning too much down low running the 9/15. Did you compare the 9/15 to 10/16 on that 718 motor? I want to change possibly as well. Any info on your setup would be great!

I just ordered a new 9/15. I'm currently running a 10/16 and it feels just a bit too steep for my setup.

780cc 5mm, speedwerx drypipe, dual x-metal 46's, MSD total loss in a Glass Vision hull. exit nozzle at just shy of 85mm, stubby cone.

I run a 10/16 on my ported 718 hi comp, etc.
But when I blew crank seals out of my 718, I dropped in my hi comp/ported/piped 6M6 650
and it spun the 10/16 just fine
