I need a little help.. I like to do flatwater freeride and freestyle. Im looking for good bottom end hit but also like top speed.. ive pretty much whiddled down to two props, the hooker 9/15 or skat trak 12/17 swirl. What would be a good combination of bottom end and top speed? If there are other suggestions ill take them as well!

I went from a skat 14/17 to a hooker 11/16 and
It was like I dropped in a new motor

Same question here. Except top speed isn't a priority.

I've got a 2006 stock SJ and don't plan on adding a pipe, but will probably port the motor when it's time for a top end. I was thinking of a Skat trak C+75 (144) in a 9-17 or 12-17. I worry a little that a stock motor might have trouble with one of these swirls? I'm a 240lb flatwater rider, that will catch a little air now and then.

The small hub 12-17 is good, much like a pitched down Concord. Many people in my area are having problems with big hubs overloading. A Skat 12-18 large hub needs a three cylinder to turn it.

depends on your motor set-up, if your a ported 701, go with the 9/15 anything less and i wouldnt go with a big hub

Thanks guys, you saved me some R&D money. I'll either wait until I port it or just go with a small hub that the stock motor can turn.
