Just finished rebuilding the 89 js 300 motor! How much is the proper amount of oil to put back in the crankcase

None. You should remove the oil pump and premix your gas

Ok so apparently the guy had already switched it over to premix but I was confused as to y the oil pump was still on the motor and he didn't install a block off plate. I just took the pump off and it looks as if he has grinded the piece flat that spins inside the pump do it cannot spin and release oil. Will that b fine untill I get the block off plate?

Take a picture of what your talking about. And honestly I would just wait till you get a block off plate.
