87 js300 750 swap

Looking for a tech willing to do this for me in mid-michigan I have the js300 and a working 750 sitdown. If you know anyone please have them give me a call 8102231264

honestly dude more people i think may give you the same opinion. its really not worth paying someone else to do. the benefit of the 300 hull was that you could do it yourself with little money and just lots of time. if you are paying someone for their time then it isnt worth it vs buying a nice used hull.

I think you are the guy my buddy asked what i would charge to do this..... i said 2000$ because to do it right you have to glass in a bigger pump tunnel like a 750 or 650 tunnel.

Don't waste your time. You'll get so much cavitation if you don't use the right parts. @j0hnny is right! You will need a bigger pump or else it will just cavitate! Rather than swap out the 750, Drop a new 701 in that JS300 and call it a "Yamasaki", Ha!
Lol that statement makes no sense, so you're telling me the 750 with the 300 pump will cavitate but the 701 with the 300 pump won't?

its okay..... and the 300/440 pump isnt a bad pump but it is designed for high rpm low torque applications. not a setup like a 650 or 750 or yamaha. it will work you just wont get the performance you are after. hence why we graft in 6 an 750 or yamaha pump tunnels. and often set the pickup back so it desnt suck air as easily as a stock 300. but when looking at 200 hours of work at my rate on averge of $40 an hour. just go buy an aftermarket hull that is stronger and superior in every way.
