850 dasa cylinder, on 64x bottom end

Hello, I've searched the internet but haven't uncovered much, i have a 780 big bore that the top end just let go, the sleeve cracked, anyways i believe it's a64x case that's ported and epoxied, i was looking at the dasa 850 power valve cylinder kit as a replacement, because nobody wants to rebuild with less or the same power lol.... Can anyone tell me how much needs to be fly cut to accept the dasa cylinder??

Don’t think there is inventory out there. Prolly cheaper to buy that 10 mil dasa 900 in the 4 sale section then do an 850 kit…

if that’s not an option, might consider fixing yours, could use or sell and recoup some cash from a complete engine purchase

Just gonna fully pull apart the bottom end and inspect before i finalize my decision, make sure the crank and stuff is up to par, there isn't a whole lot of hours on the engine, maybe 50ish?

Who has a Dasa 850 top in stock? I got jerked around for over 6 months trying to get a new one before I pulled the plug. Be careful trusting what's in stock or soon to be readily available.

Anyways, the cases will need to be epoxied and heavily ported quite a bit for the larger transfer ports, and then also fly cut for the sleeves. I believe the OD of that sleeve is around 94mm? Can double check my notes later. Od of your sleeve existing sleeve should be 89mm.

Well i found my crank let go so I'm gonna try and think of the best solution to get back on the water, kinda leaning towards the jetmaniac big bore... Since the only thing good on my engine is the cases
