800 Reed Spacers

Does anyone run reed spacers on their 750/800? Do you run them with V Force reeds or Stock? Are they advantagous for freeride?

I have a set of non angled reed spacers but never tried them since I needed longer studs. Are the 2 or 3 degree spacers better? I have VForce II's at the moment and would run the spacer with them if I tried them out.

Just trying some new setups to see what works.

I've run the TBM angled spacers with vforce 2 reeds and stock true-bore carbs & ported manifold. My limited really pulled hard with this set up and had great acceleration.
I've heard the non-angled spacer do not help. Also vforce reeds really need a port matched manifold to help. I did crack my manifold riding in the surf because you need to take lot of material out to match up to the vforce reeds.
I think next year my limited will get aftermarket carbs & manifold and my surf boat will run the truebore carbs with stock manifold and reeds.

I was running the TBM reed spacers with Tasanari V-force 2 myself until I cracked one of the V-force reed cages. Now I'm running the TBM reeds spacer with an R&D M16 reed, seems to hit well. also running the parts below.

ADA girdled head 200psi
freestyle porting
cylinder bore
factory wet pipe
dual 46mm blackjacks
R&D reeds
Advent t3 ignition and TBM total loss flywheel
TBM reed spacers
electronic water injection (may take it out)
12 vain skat trak magnum pump
skat trak 9/17
jetworks flow control valve

That sounds like a good set up. How do the V Force 2's compare to the M 16's? I was also trying to figure out the right pitch for my TBM cone with the magnum prop. Do you like the 9/17 for freestyle/freeride?
