Custom/Hybrid 787 seapoo in a superjet...

I have the old square thats gonna get some love this winter and for grins I thought I would just drop the 787 to see how it fit. The shaft is about an inch too high... I guess you could get around it if you were dead set on doing it but it seems this motor weighs soooo much for 110 hp there are better 110 hp options that would be more viable. This motor is fuel injected which would be cool but wouldn't be worth the time invested I don't think. It is cool how far back the motor is though. This motor was in an old gtx we had till it caught fire. Palm Pre 281.jpgPalm Pre 280.jpg

With the amount of room from the motor being tilted it appeared the stock exhaust should go where the yami exhaust exits the back.

For years l bad mouthed seadoos.l had an chance to buy a 96 HX with a toasted motor.Rebuilt it with Klemm's "restomod" plan.Ski is strong and reliable.Would have been neat to drop in a 787 in it though.

Still ride my standups, prefer them over the hx.Just can't do a lot with it other than rail the hell of it.

Ive never ridden a hx but they look fun but so does the 89 yamaha with the goofy pole up front for that matter... think it had a 500? That thing might be alot of fun with a 701 or bigger motor... Then again, anything is more fun with a bigger motor....
