I just grabbed a wave venture 760 dual carb for real cheap. The hull is kinda sun baked and the seats need attention but the motor and pump look and sound real good. Im considering buying a project sj if this motor is a good candidate for a power plant. How do they run vs the 701? They are a direct bolt in for the sj right? Anyway i can use this pump in the sj? Thanks.

760's need higher compression and good porting to improve throttle response otherwise they are a midrange and up couch motor. Exhaust port timing is approximately 2 mm higher for high rev performance.

Also should swap the head and electronics. Theres tons of info on them if you search for it.
