Super Jet 760 motor question.

Picked up this 760 motor from a b2 this past summer.
Looking into a build for my SN.

Upon disassembly I noticed the cylinders have extra material where the exhaust mounts to.
This area is all mangled to hell like it was rubbing loose for a while.

This area is also where the girdle studs would need to pass through, can or does this area get machined out when using a girdle head set up?

Thanks for any help.

I just cut that out with a grinder/drill bit. Then I cleaned up with a Dremel and a porting bit.

None of that material is needed if you have aftermarket exhaust and a girdled head. Hack away.
