saw a WBII with a good engine and bad hull.
can I pull the 760 and put it into a SJ? SN or RN?
what else will I need to make this work- that OEM exhaust in the WBII doesnt look like it will fit
Is there any benefit of this over a 701?
Thanks!!!

It's more displacement.
It's port timing less geared towards bottom end, but it'll probably be worth your while if it's a good price.
Your 701 exhaust will bolt up, but you need to either put inserts into the 760 cylinder, or make the holes in the manifold bigger.
Also, you need to either use the complete electrical system of the 760, or change stator, flywheel, and cover over from your old motor
Other than that, it will bolt right up.

Ray Barre runs a 760 cyl in his RN's. They make great power. I just put a 760 in my Blaster and love it. It is port matched which probably helps with responsiveness, but it hits good on the low end. If the price is good I would go for it.
