Picked this 750sx up for free from a friends brother in law. It has not run for 2 years and has just been sitting in his garage. It has not been registered in several years so i will have to pay all the back taxes on the ski but hey....free kawi!! can't beat that. Mechanically and cosmetically clean virgin ski. All Stock. Might keep it for the girlfriend to ride or sell it in the winter.

Took the oil injection off tonight. Still need to drain the gas and replace with new fuel. I have not had it running yet but it was trying. Compression test showed 170psi on both cylinders

it has a stock cover. I just removed it when I was trying to get it to fire up. I think the gas is just bad. I could get it to run for a few seconds but it has that old gas smell to it.

I would suggest running through the carb real quick - about 95% of the time a ski that has just sat for a long period of time will have a stuck needle & seat, but that's it. Other than that, I'm sure you will be good to go! Good luck -Kurt

I disassembled the carb and cleaned it out but it looked great inside. Not build up or things of that nature. The gas I drained out of the tank was nasty so I know that was the culpret. I'll take it out for a water test tomorrow.
