Carb settings were per recommendation of people on this site. Put it in the water had drivability issues. Bogging as though very rich. And quickly fouling plugs. Exhaust manifold was getting a lot hotter than I was comfortable with. Very small oil present in water where exhaust exits ski(leads me to believe unburned fuel in exhaust manifold). Jug, pisser and rest of pipe where cool. Decided to go through electrics system. Next test ride it will have new coil stator and new miller lightened flywheel. Hopefully Thursday.

image.jpg cooling is 2 lines from pump to exhaust manifold(ball valves in line)Used factory pipes plumbing head to top of pipe. Bottom of pipe to tee. Tee to stinger with fcv. Tee to pisser. I used a lot more hose than they recommend to relocate the flow control valve to an easy spot to change. Could this be a problem? Will take out valve and make hose length factory pipe wanted to rule out. image.jpg

Back together going in the water now. Found another sheared key. Lapped and new flywheel. Check water box with little leaf blower. Rubber flapped would not open. Removed. Removed flow control valve.

This trip was a success. Would not have happened with out the help of new miller machine, the lady from factory pipe, and a buddy James.

I am going for the footholds next.

Does anyone have any recommendations of some warm fresh water near daytona?

Hoping to play with tuning a bit and put a few hours on this ski before trying the surf.

image.jpg image.jpg First round of glass on the footholds done. Super happy with the quality of the foothold but if you have a 750 SX pick a different one. Since ordering them I have seen Tom's holds and another set a holds that would've went into the ski with less work. The floor and backing was all done with biaxle .2 high spots filled with the resin and Mattimage.jpg
