750 Sx, Flatwater freestyle-able?

Is it worth it, since im on a budget and cant find a deal on a SN 701 for around $1500, yet i can find sxi's for 1500 built up..

All im wondering is with quick trim, and some engine mods like higher compression head, exhaust, new reeds, impeller, stubby cone, nozzle bore, and things like this, if it will be effective enough, or if the size is just to big. Anyone?

You will get varied responses some swear by the kawis but not many LOL

Odds are you will eventually buy a SJ either way so why waste time right??

Personally I have bought several kawis and still ended up Yamaha
If I tally all the $$ Ive spent It would have been easier to buy something already built up!
Which I kinda did but thats another story!

yea....you can freestyle a 750. Josh Lustic used to rip it up on a 750! You'll just prolly end up with a SJ. But hey, you work with what you got, right? I just wouldn't dump too much cash in the kawi. Ride it, and when you can get the funds, sell it and upgrade to a sj. my .02

Quit fooling yourself, and the people here. I was there and saw no such thing, nor anything even remotely close.

I could flatwater roll my 750sx, but it was modded (everything but bore). Now as far as a backflip on flatwater, there wasn't a chance in hell I was going to land that.

Alright buddy, you keep telling yourself that.I know what i did an i didnt say it was off my own wake.

LMAO. Your ski broke down the first hour you were there.

I know you are trying to make yourself look better by saying you can do such moves, so as to somehow put you on the same level as other riders, but you will find out that your integrity will be more valuable than the tricks others think you can do.

Calling people out is a fact of life, get used to it. You being friends with him, knowing him, or otherwise having a vested interest in him doesn't make me a douche because I called him out.

I was there, along with a bunch of friends, and we specifically commented on how he was a beginner (quite obvious on his riding and what he was doing, having trouble turning at times), and we were happy to see beginners at the freerides (which is why I remember him specifically). We were also the ones helping him out when his ski broke down.

Then, to find him bragging about something he is quite obviously not capable of is worth calling out.

In the end, I don't really care. He has the motivation to learn what he is claiming he can already do, but you have to crawl before you can walk.

So is getting smacked in the chops for being a douche.

I dont know the dude, or you for that matter, but calling someone to the mat and trying to belittle them publicly be cause how he perceived his riding skill differs from how you percieve it make you a ...dare I say... first class douche.

we are here to have fun and ride, that simple.. not drop our pants and try to engage in sword fighting,:starwars: though you do apear to be into that sort of thing.:haha:

And what you're doing is any better? Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

"Smack" me in the chops eh?

Come introduce yourself to me at the next freeride.
