750 swap EBOX

anyone ever make an EBOX or any other route other than strapping it to the gas tank which i cant stand.

I was thinking if possible to put the 750 electronics in a Yamaha ebox which is slimmer and longer and mount it on the starboard side just behind the battery on the hull. I think not will all fit but I’m not sure if this has been done before only thing I don’t see fitting from pictures is the rectifier

750s have much more powerful charging systems. Im not sure how hot the rectifier gets. I mounted it on the outside front of my homemade box.

I can't recommend the setup because I have not given it any real testing but on my JS I ditched the E-box entirely. I am using a doo starter solenoid, OE sumitomo sealed connectors (used on the 4 stroke skis) and a plate to mount it.

In theory, everything is waterproof, in practice we will find out.

Not sure where you're located but very high humidity especially in the south can really affect dry times. Just outside of Houston so that would 100% be a factor. Sean
