Super Jet 701 Was Locked, am i good?

I bought a superjet that the motor was locked when I bought it. I was able to free it up easily at the guys house and I flushed out good with fogging oil/2 stroke oil. The guy didnt even know it was locked. It turns out his brother rode it last and left the gas cap loose. Salt water was inside the tank and the carbs.

I got it running and took it down to the water and ran it for about 20 minutes and everything felt good, just to be safe I did a tear down to the cylinders. The bearings have no play, the rollers are a shiny metal still with no evidence of pitting. The cages have a brass look to them. Its hard to get a good focus with a camera. Should I just reassemble with fresh gaskets? Im leaning towards just slapping it back together and use the money on footholds and stuff.

The engine is OEM with only a few hours on it, there are still sharpie markings on the pistons that say "14" or something.

footholds are useless without a wetsuit lol.. im telling you your going to thank me for talking you into a winter suit when you could start your seasion early.

Alright guys, thats what im doing. Ordering gaskets now.

I noticed you can see where the rings had locked against the cylinder wall, the rings were free when I disassembled it though (after flushing the engine with so much oil). The compression was 150 dead even both cylinders before disassembly.

Teddy, too late, I got a nice clean tray no glue no mats. I have WCF footholds on the way and footstrap for front. When time comes to go riding im gonna go local place to buy a nice suit. Everything is moving along beautifully and at this rate I may have a pipe.. :brap:
