Yup that makes sense what's your deck height. If your less than 0 it will be higher
Im guessing your tunning about .5 to .7 mm negative deck height

I never said I didn't like the porting, just the quality of the engine build. It wasn't very good work, now that the engine ran awhile with loose crank bearings it ruined the cases in the main bearing bores.

Forgot the 0 thought it would be known talking squish in thousandths. So with that # what are your calculations coming out to for trans dur? Id just like to know if im doing something incorrectly and why my measurements are diff?

Chuck, How do you go about determining if the main bearing bores are worn to the point the cases cant be used again?I didnt comment on what anyone said about the porting, just wondering why the long transfer shapes, and whats best to do to the cases to match it?thought it strange the case was ported laid back so far but the base gasket was not cut to match, also seems like pretty thin sealing area like this.I was thinking on porting my other cases that are running a 5 mill to match this cylinder.Ive also heard some people have built epoxy ramps in the bottom of the cylinder to match the case, less dead area.what did you find to be best for these cylinders racing back in the day.
