701 cdi on a 650

i plan on putting a 701 motor in my 650 sj soon as i have the money and i have been collecting parts for a while. so my question is i have a cdi off a 701 62t sj motor and i know it has a higher ref limit so would it do me any good to put in on now? maby get a little more out of my 650?

Not sure what the gains would be, but I have used that exact setup without problems. If I'm not mistaken the rev limit just a bit higher on the 62t cdi. I'm sure someone who knows for sure can chime in.

well i went ahead and put it on. seems to run just fine, same as before. maby revs a little higher.
