701 case chewed up after bearing failure

front rod bearing on the crank let loose yesterday, tore it down today.

sucked up through the case into the cylinder, scored up the sleave, trashed the piston, trashed the head, rollers all over the place.

where should i be looking in the cases for damage that will trash them for future use? the obvious things are that it spun a few more times after the bearing let loose, and the areas i see in distress is basically only the counterweight paths where the weight caught a few rollers and gouged out some paths through the case and its now burred/gouged up. no cracks that i can see.

i'm looking at a new crank, cyl bore + hone, piston kit, new head, seals, gaskets, etc... and need to know if i should be looking for some clean cases while i'm at it.

That's the common blow up if all the bearing surfaces are still good and you don't have crack's in the counterweight areas you will be ok using those cases again.
