Super Jet 701 bogging down after jumping

I just bought a 1990 superjet that someone threw a 701 in. It runs fine threw about a 1/4 of a tank of gas then every so often when I land a jump it bogs way down and will barely let me go over idle, When I let off the throttle it idles fine but as soon as i hold it WOT it wont go anywhere until I hold it for like 30 secs then it slowly picks up again. I switched it to reserve and the problem seems to go away until I run about another 1/4 tank threw. Did they have a problem with the fuel pick ups on these or is the something else going on?

there does not appear to water in the tank. I took it out again today and it ran thru 1/2 a tank of gas fine then started to act up alittle, I filled it back up but the the problem came back even with a full tank. is there suppose to be a fuel filter inline with the carb or is that all in the carb? Cause i dont see a filter on the lines to the carb and im wondering if the previous owners took it off or something. Im gonna try rebuild the carb next week and see where that gets me. If anyone has some advice on where to get the rebuild kits and problems that i may run into, this will be the first time i've rebuilt a carb=/

If there was water in the tank there is water in carbs. You can clean and reassemble if they are good and clean carbs. If not you will need a Mikuni rebuild kit. I wouldnt use aftermarket

I ordered an aftermarket before reading that=( but i didnt get a really cheap one and reviews were good on it. what about the fuel filter? is there suppose to be one inline?
