-7 off my oem hull...

D-Roc

I forgot!
when I first shortened my hull I did an angled back. I also trimmed the rear bondline off. My thought was to make as little drag as possible. I am now at -7 ish on the bottom deck and a 4 inch shorter tray. I kinda think my top deck is about -5 shorter altogether. Shortening the top deck is a bunch of work but doing the bottom can be too if your dealing with the rear exhaust and scupper.

looks good cant wait to see how it turns out.
I have a rn sj (ADDICT's old ski) that has had 3" slant on rear but I need to do some repairs and find a hood for it so I can drop a motor in and see what its like.
Maybe we can trade ski's for a few min on a Gen. run to see how it rides when I get done with the ROK.

cutting the rear bondline is a must!
I plan to... Just not sure how much yet... I'll start with a little and work my way up the bond line.... you know cut it, ride it, cut it again... don't wanna take too much off at first... too much work to add back.

Keeping it legal for what? There are no rules for amateur freestyle anymore...
Yeah... I know... no one follows them. But if and when I place in comp, I'll know that I won or placed on a legal SJ platform with a motor under legal displacement. If I were competing on something that wasn't legal, and I actually won, it would be in the back of my mind that I cheated the other riders I would be competing against that were riding legal skis...

Rules? They were never followed.
Your right... for the most part... I do believe that every one in AM were legal last year at Nationals, and I've been soooo short on $ that that's prolly the only event I will be able to attend this year...
Watch... now that I said that, everyone in AM will be riding ricktors and eme's but me....lol

how was D-mop today

Good. Brian had some issues to work out, had a pickup come loose, then not enough water flow, not sure if they got it worked out or not, I left around 5:30 and they were still working on it.

Had a good doubleup session. Attempted my first back flips. tried 2 flips. Did not throw my head back, so my rotation stalled out between 1/2 - 3/4 rotation, but man that was fun!!!! Never tried them before!!!!!!!!!!! cant wait for the next double ups!!!!!!

Amen my man. they should just through one ski with adj foothold and pole in the water and every rider has to use it. lol.

you can make an oem hull way better and lighter. keep going.

Thx bro...

That would be very interesting to do...

I don't want to make it sound like I'm doing the work... I'm just merely helping. Toby's the one making things happen.

Hell yeah Harrison! It's not as bad landing upside down as you think huh! It's nice not having to worry about hitting bottom... Props bro!

I still remember that one you hit at Nationals in 08.... You made Malone's back flip look small!!!!!!!!!!

I got to get them farther around, the old wammer hood I have is not going to survive long landing upside down!
