6m6 exhaust question

i have decided to build a friends daughter a sj to learn to ride on .
hull given to me , just been growin skeeters in it so hey im gonna build it
also had a old wr3 given to me w a good motor
so i pulled it to swap it out
when out i found the exhaust corroded out
is the chamber the same on 6m6 and 61x? i think it is

I remember years ago I bought gaskets for what I thought was for a 701 breadbox but what I got was smaller and was for a 650. I may be thinking of something else so I could be wrong. Look on Partzilla and see if the gaskets are the same for both.

Years ago we swapped out the chambers on a mates 'ski (650 couch). As far as I'm aware the chamber I provided came from a late model Superjet. It came in a job lot of parts from someone who had upgraded their 'ski, so I don't doubt it was a 701 chamber. Fitted perfectly.

Part number on muffler (exhaust manifold?) on 1991 6m6 is:

Part number on gasket on 1994 61x is:
61X-14613-A1-00

Part number on muffler (exhaust manifold?) on 1994 61x is:
61X-14711-02-00
