A shorter handlepole helps a lot. I built this one that's like 3" shorter and rotates the pivot point of the turn plate so it's more in line with the pole. The handling difference it made is the ONLY reason I still own this ski, if that gives you an idea how much it helped.

Damn, I clicked the pic and saw nothing but a shovel, I was like (oh no he didnt):biggthumpup: I mean it is a 650SX, but its still a ski. Nice pole dude, looks well constructed. I always thought my old 650sx handled well but was just gutless.
