650sx to 550 hull

just signed up here tonight. i have a 88650 and my g/f has a 92550. i really like the 550 hull size. semms more comfortable to me. little smaller. want to pull my 650 engine and swap to a 550 hull. any help or tips would be great. anyone got a cheap 550 hull they want to sale? not to far from zip code 83704. thanks

I'm pretty sure you need a conversion plate (custom bed plate) to get the engine to line up right. I don't think there's a whole lot more to it than that.

Where are you located??? I have a 440 parts ski (same as 550) and 2 parts engines. Make me an offer. If your close enough to pick it up and are interested, I'll take some pics and post tonight.

i live in idaho just outside boise. i am just looking for a hull, hood, and hand pole. think i have the rest alrredy. if you have those, post em. i'll check them out and if all is well maybe you could just drop tehem off at a carrier and i'll take care of everything else.:nutkick:
