I have a bone stoke 88 650
A couple weeks ago, i got out into the breakers and the ski started to cut out and sputter.
I figured it was probably the stator, so i replaced both coils and got it all back together. This it has ran perfect for the last couple weekend.
At this point i have replaced the Ignition coil, both stator coils, the relay and the starter.
The only electrical component I have not replaced is the regulator
So i was ridding this weekend and it started to do the exact same thing it did lat time.
Does the regulator have anything to do with making a consistent spark?
The ski cuts in and out and wont rev up. It almost sounds like its in a safe mode or has a rev limiter
Fuel lines are all bran new and I just run a bottle of sea foam through it incase the carb was dirty
