300/440/550 650sx intake manifold

do you have to use a special aftermarket manifold for a

44 or 46 mikuni carb................will these bolt right on

to a stock manifold

maybe grind on the stock manifold to get the holes lined up for better flow

The OEM kaw 650 manifold are set up for Keihin carburetors and will not fit Mikuni carburetors. You have to buy an aftermarket manifold that is designed for the Mikuni carburetors. Prof

I have seen adapter plates where you can bolt a Kehin to a Mikuni manifold.

But I have seen them from Kehin to Mikuni.

Here is one on ebay now. I think there si a PJS one on there too. It looks funny because the carb is angled like a Kehin manifold.

i do keep new, BCW racing intakes here for the kawi 650 motors to fit SBN 44's or 46 mm carbs.
