650/X-2 650sx handle pole slop

I have a 1991 650sx with a lot of play in the handle pole. I have heard that you can buy after market bushings and drill out the holes in the pole to fit them. However, I can not find these bushings at dennis kirk or anywhere. Are they not 650sx specific? Is there any other recommended way of fixing this? Any information would be helpful. Thanks

They use to make aftermarket nylon bushings for Kawasakis. I did not like them because you had to drill a 7/8" hole and it was hard to keep them straight. You may be able to use bushings from a 750SXI. They look thinner (easier to drill) than the old aftermarket bushings.

I used to have about 10 new sets of the OEM 650SX pole bushings, but gave them away to friends that needed them for their sloppy POS 650SX poles.

I have 1 new OEM bushing right here in my junk drawer. Ill look and see if I can find another one.
