650cc E-Box vs 701 E-Box

I bought a 701cc complete with electronics, stock muffler, etc. from @BIRDMAN (huge shout out - I need to post up in the positive experience with seller thread) to put in a 1994 SN SJ which I mistakenly thought had a 701 in it when I purchased it but it only had a 650.

The 701cc runs well but the E-Box is all stock.

I had installed a MSD 650-701 Enhancer
and a Jet Ski Solutions upgraded spark plug wires (kept the old coil, should've had them put on a new coil).

So I am pretty sure I can take the MSD Enhancer and the upgraded spark plug wires out of the 650 E-Box and swap them into the 701 E-Box, correct?

But wouldn't it just be simpler to swap the E-Box from the 650 into the 701 and vice a versa? Any differences between the two E-Boxes that I should be aware of?
 
I dont think theres any difference. Atleast I haven't noticed any. Should be good to just wire up the 701 stator to the 650 ebox, but once you open the ebox to do that its not very different to do that vs swap the cdi and coil. Easiest would be to cut the stator wires and put a duetsch connector on it and both eboxes so you can hot swap the ebox if you have electrical problems.
