650 vs. 701 performance gap?

Take a Pamprin for Christ's sake. How can you call BS on my OPINION?? No one else has the balls to say anything bad about any SJ. It's like it's taboo or something. Sorry, but a stock 650 is a turd. Is it better than not riding, sure. Would I rather ride a stock B1, or a stock Kawi 750?? In a heartbeat.

Maybe if the dude is 125 lbs and has never ridden anything on land or water with more than 25 HP, he'd be entertained for half a summer. I'd be shopping for a pipe for that thing the day I bought it though. Hey, maybe my 650 was a particularly turdish turd because of the soaked foam, and everybody else's stock 650s are arm-rippers. That just might be the case. :grumble:

Wasn't that the whole point? That's what almost ALL of the rest of us were telling him, but you made it sound like it's better to be dead than ride a 650. And yes....he is kind of starting out, so he hasn't ridden anything with a bunch of power, so he'd probably love it. There's always time to upgrade.
I'm not wanting to get into a pissing match with you, I just thought that some of your comments you made were pretty wacked. But that's my OPINION.
