SX/SXi/SXi Pro 650 sx Aftermarket Exhaust HELP!

I recently bought my first stand up ski, a 650 sx. It has an aftermarket exhaust installed and seems to be installed incorrectly. When ever I ride it, it runs really hot, and no water is going out of the squirter, exhaust actually goes out of the squirter. I have heard that on after market exhaust you can "tune" the exhaust to run dry, I wonder if this is why I have to water pumping through the exhaust. Or are my lines backward (pump and drain lines) if so how do I tell does any one have a diagram or can tell me exactly how to hook this up correctly.

If its spitting water and steam you may have a blown head gasket

Ok, I have stripped the exhaust completley off. Between my exhaust manifold and block here are metal gaskets that block the orifices around the pipe where the water travels, is this typical. I also have 3 ports on my exhaust manifold and am not sure how they should be hooked up. The head pipe has no orifices around pipe for water to travel, how does the head pipe cool? There is a port at the top of the head pipe should I T my water intake line and branch to my manifold and another to the head pipe? I am very confused.

I thought I finally had the exhaust hooked up correctly, took it out was running strong then bogged down and died on me. I swam it in and it looks as though it got extremely hot. It will no longer start but the motor turns over, however it turns over very slowly. Plugs are still sparking, trying to determine if its getting gas seems like it isn't because even when I choke and pump the trottle I can't smell or see anything any ideas?
