What size investment is that stroker option with the 650 and are the maintenance costs high? Is the performance for money better than a 701 based stock stroke big bore?

What about investment for a 62t on 6m6 bottom? I've heard from many including a builder that the 6m6 bottom is too small. I've also heard that there is little difference between it and a 61x bottom.

can someone answer this one? what kind of cost to do a 4 mill?

my idea was making some changes to produce a hard hitting "low budget" 650

hence the cases and cylinder can often be found for the cost of the crank, which compared to a 62T saves you approv $ 300 at start up

Now you can bore your cylinder to a max of....?? and do some freestyle porting , raise the compression milling the head..?? ( budget )

I wonder why no one can/wants to offer an attractive package...

Haha I'm working on it. I'd rather spend 800 on my low hour 650 and it be a beast then the same for just another 701 I've been there done that a few times

i would also like to know this i have acouple 650's laying in the garage waiting for the right day to come out and play with the rest.

Obviously new gaskets, crank seals etc.....but coming from BB with engine investments starting arround $ 4,000 +.....I would like to see a $ 999 product, furthermore a good use of parts that everyone has laying arround.....

Has anyone figured out the price yet? I've got a 650 SJ that needs to be bored out so figured I'd have the head bored and maybe some porting.
btw, I have an r&d grate, unknown AM prop, speedwerx dry pipe, and ocean pro f/a and my 650 has amazing bottom end!
