Super Jet 650 SN impeller question

I just recently bought a 650 SN '92 superjet. I've only had it out once but quickly found out it had no mid to top end and that its going to need a prop.

I think it would be safe to say that the previous owner sucked up some rocks. It also has tons of pitting which, from what I gather, is caused by cavitation. Anyways I'm looking for a new prop. With so many options out there I don't know what to buy.

I'm going to be riding in rivers and lakes so I'm mainly looking for bottom end. With that in mind what pitch do I want for a stock 650? What's the difference between a swirl prop and the straight ones?

Also is there anyone here who's got something they want to get rid of?

my ski (93 SN) had that same prop in it though not as bad as yours. i went with a skat trak 9/17 and it was a night and day difference. i picked it up on ebay for $85 shipped. my ski is stock as well.
 
skat and solas are the 2 major players...the 9/17 skat suggested is an older impeller design and was one of the popular choices for the 650 Sn back in the day. Soals also made a good one and I beleieve it was a 13/18 super camber or something liek that. If you wanted too spend a few more dollars you could call impros and get them to recommend a newer blade design like a solas concorde or skat swirl with the proper pitch for your setup. Than you could just have it repitched if you ever decide to go to a 701 and still have the prop of choice. But you would be into at least 250-300. Depends how much you want to spend...the 9/17 though should be able to be had for cheap, aswell should a 13/18 solas,. I've also heard of guys running a stock waveblaster impeller with good results as they are SS rather than the aluminum the Sj came with.

Jetx you mentioned a 9/17 if I go up to a 10/18 is that still a good pitch? I found an ebay auction for a 10/18. Is that going to be good for a stock SN? Is it going to be good for more bottom end?
