Super Jet 650 SN impeller question

I just recently bought a 650 SN '92 superjet. I've only had it out once but quickly found out it had no mid to top end and that its going to need a prop.

I think it would be safe to say that the previous owner sucked up some rocks. It also has tons of pitting which, from what I gather, is caused by cavitation. Anyways I'm looking for a new prop. With so many options out there I don't know what to buy.

I'm going to be riding in rivers and lakes so I'm mainly looking for bottom end. With that in mind what pitch do I want for a stock 650? What's the difference between a swirl prop and the straight ones?

Also is there anyone here who's got something they want to get rid of?

Thanks for any help or feedback.

You might try sticking this in the general section. you will get a few more views. That actually doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. Was your pump shoe ok?

That's the awful 4 blade stock impeller. Just about any aftermarket impeller works better than that. What's your budget? Under $100 will get you an older style (but still effective) straight blade Skat. I think I have a 8/16 or 9/17. $200 will get you a used newer swirl style 13/16 or the like. I've got a brand new 12/17 Skat trak swirl for $225 if your budget permits.

Hey Peter I posted in the General section as well. I think the pump shoe is ok except for the bottom corner. There's a gouge propbably from a rock and it probably needs some fiberglass work.

Hey thanks Aaron. Since I only paid $400 for the ski and its still all stock I'm leaning towards the cheaper/used prop option right now. Do you have something like that you want to get rid of?

I'm looking for something with good bottom end hookup and i really don't know what the different pitches mean.
