650/X-2 650 no start

Ok it was running sounded like a plug was fouling l killed it and it wouldn't restart.
PHP:
I put new plugs in it.It has spark and fuel it will not start or even pop.
It has unknown compression? but quite a bit.

Have any ldea's what it would be?

What do you mean by "pop". I'm assuming it is turning over if you can say you have spark.

It would not have spark if the flywheel key was sheered thus no working stator, nor would the motor be turning over.

Don't assume it has compression. You need to check it.

If you have spark, and you have compression, it's a fuel/air mixture problem.
 
What l ment by pop is not even sound or try and start

The carb to intake gaskette is marginal l will buyt a new one and see what happens

Then l will check the woodruff key which is what l think it is you guys have one?

If the woodruff key sheared it would still spark, just at the wrong time. When the key shears the flywheel usually doesn't freewheel on the crank it just shifts and throws off the timing. It would still turn over, at least when I've had it happen to me thats how it was. I've also had the stator come loose behind the flywheel with the same symptoms.

But you do need to check the compression. Just feeling it isn't going to tell you anything, you need numbers, and more important is the difference between the cylinders.

Start with the easiest thing first. Put a compression guage on it. It requires nothing other than the guage, and nothing needs to be disassembled.
