With some practice and skill, you can do all the basic tricks like subs, nose stabs, fountains, tail stalls, power subs, etc. just dont expect to do anything very big on it and all of the tricks will be slightly harder and not as big as they would be if you were on a sj or something else.

You can do all the same tricks (aside from a backflip very easily). Just need more practice, which just puts you ahead in the game if you upgrade to something more freestyle oriented in the future. I have a decked out 650sx which I know is hard for freestyle, but being in school I can't afford anything else. All it means is I will have that much more skill going down the harder (albeit cheaper) path to try and learn tricks when I upgrade in the future, as I view it anyhow.
