Get yourself a press and some push rods or deep sockets and get to work.

After you get it all apart and back together, make sure you true it up on some
v-blocks.

Otherwise, send it off to the experts at Crankworks and be confident that it is done right.

You need about a 30 ton hydraulic press and a press plate, the plate has a cutout that goes around the rod big end, then you have to shim up hollowed out part inside the crankshaft web to keep it straight while you press it apart, I usually used old rod pins to press the pins out of the crank.

You will find its not an easy task and if you happen to not be pressing straight or if your press has too much side play in it allowing it to become twisted the whole thing can shoot out with enough force to kill someone (this is not a joke, its deadly serious) when I used to do cranks I had a shield set up on the press just in case something came flying out of the press, better safe than sorry.

I think once you check the price of the parts to rebuild the crank and factor in the price of the press plate, v-blocks and dial indicators you will see its a much better deal to just buy one rebuilt ready to go, its defiantly a lot less hassle.
