650 Bendix Question

Pretty frustrated as I've searched forums and parts fiche, and can't find a definite answer.

For the Yamaha 650s, is there a thrust washer on the engine side of the Bendix? I am aware of the 2 washers and spring in the stator cover, so please don't comment on that.

If so would anyone happen to have a part number?

Yamaha just seems to sell it with the bendix- yes, it fits on the rear, next to the bushing in the crankcase. It's a "M12 x 24 x 1mm (thin) steel flatwasher.

Cant find it anywhere with a 24mm OD. Think a 26 OD will be fine?

I hope so. Sure you don't want to go with the factory spec item? It's doubtless that thickness for a reason...

24mm is the OD of the washer. 1mm us the thickness. Same thickness, reduced overall diameter by 1mm. I doubt it will hurt anything,
