300/440/550 650/750 Exhaust Bolt

I was out riding the other day and noticed that I was missing a bolt from my Exhaust manifold. I found the bolt in the bottom of my hull and realized that the threads are stripped (on the manifold not the bolt). Does anyone know what size of a bolt is used on the stock 650 exhaust manifold?

Are you sure it's not a 750 exhaust manifold?

If you are talking about the bolt that supports the expansion chamber by the single bolt to the exhaust manifold, those threads strip out all the time. Your best bet is to replace the manifold with one that has good threads, and use the worn manifold on a TS or other pipe that doesn't require that bracket. As I recall the Mariner pipe was supported by the left forward motor mount bolt.
Anyway, that's my take.

Nope, he's talking about the three headpipe-to-manifold bolts.

That's an easy fix. Take the manifold to the local Machine Shop and have them install a helicoil.

They should be M10x1.25.

I had a super hard time finding bolts with that thread pitch that use an allen wrench head.

I found them no problem, just like the oem ones just not stainless.
