FX-1 64x Motor Swap

98gti: You def have a 64x engine. Sorry for the slow reply. But the 64x engines do still have 62t cast into the case and cylinder. But ALL B2's had 760's (64x). Not to say it couldnt have been switched out but the fact that it has 2 pulse fittings is the dead give away. The 760 (64x) cylinder also should have 2 extra gussets on the intake side (one near front one near rear). The only thing i can tell you is you are probably loosing a bunch of potential bottom end being that is an SBT reman. Sbt tends to grind up on the ports when they resleeve the cylinders which adds insult to injury as the 64x exhaust port timing is already too high. If you ever felt like pulling the cylinder i could def cut the cylinder and a set of custom domes to fix that for pretty cheap (150 to r&r sleeves and cut cylinder, 120 for set of custom domes). Another option is cut the top of the cases but tends to be more work cuz entire engine needs to be disassembled. Just food for thought. But they are great engines!
