Super Jet 63n or 62t

Is there a difference between the 62t and 63n cases? Is one better than the other? Or is one better for certain applications? Thanks in advance!!!

never heard of 63N cases.

Neither have I. Are you sure its the case number not the motor number.

Ill snap a pic today. Looks just like a 62t. Ive been ruuning it two years and finally pulled it to clean up and noticed the tag says 63n. Ill get a pic up. I had never heard anything aboit one before either.

63n cases came from a sitdown there the same as 62t or 64x i can't remember which one now.

me either...did a google search and found this:

"I have a Yamaha 700 Engine I am trying to restore.

The upper flywheel casing is marked:

Yamaha J700G 30
63N 031473

The block is stamped 62T"

Ok im assuming no need for a pic. Haha. Ok my biggest question is would either gof these handle big bore cylondrr and piston combo?

To word that better.... to my understanding srock 62t bottom ends can all handle 760+ big bore sleeves. Am i mistaken? Thanks again. I think thats my last question....

You would still need to bore the case to clear big bore sleeves.

The 63n i believe is a factory 760 out of a sit down

the 63n is a 701 62t out of a xl 700 mainly used as rental skiis for there reliability
