I'd say thats a big problem. Get a valve right away! What's the compression? Is it hard to start?

What's it hurt if you have no one way valves On the tank? And what lines should have them?

The tank vent needs to have a one-way valve. No other line.
The tank needs to build a little bit of pressure to work right.
